Santana Motors leads the industrial revival of Linares with an international project for sustainable off-road vehicles

The historic Santana factory in Linares is closer than ever to coming back to life. As the driving force behind the region’s reindustrialization, Santana Motors is working closely with international partners to establish a new-generation vehicle production hub in Linares, focused on sustainable mobility.

This strategic move not only marks a new chapter for the Santana brand, but also places Andalusia on the European map as an industrial benchmark in responsible automotive manufacturing.

During an official visit to Asia, the President of the Andalusian Government, Juanma Moreno, confirmed that negotiations are well advanced and emphasized the importance of the project for the economic future of Linares and the region.

With this initiative, Santana Motors reaffirms its commitment to innovation, job creation, and the revival of Andalusia’s industrial legacy—combining cutting-edge technology with a deep connection to the local territory.
